Travel between Dominica and the French Islands of Guadeloupe and Martinique has suffered a major blow with the cancellation of ferry operations due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The suspension of services is as a result of French President, Emmanuel Macron’s decision to close France’s borders.
Operations Supervisor at L’Express Des Iles, Hans Victor, says discussions will be held with the relevant authorities to see what can be done.
Meanwhile, Val Ferry Agent, Leroy Wadix Charles says all efforts were being made to help those stranded.
