Travel ban placed on Dominica by the Canadian Embassy removed
The travel ban that was placed on Dominica following Hurricane Maria by the Canadian Embassy has been removed.
The Embassy warned its citizens that Dominica suffered significant damages from Hurricane Maria.
It said transportation routes; power and telecommunications systems had been affected throughout the island as well as emergency and medical care, and water and food supplies.
Minister for Tourism Senator Robert Tonge says the removal of the ban is as a result of positive updates in Dominica’s recovery progress.
