St. Kitts Wins Court’s OECS Schools Reading Competition
He won from a field of six competitors representing the islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Lucia, Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica and Grenada at the Arawak House of Culture on Thursday 3 March 2016.
Srinivasan, the lone male in the competition, amassed six hundred and ninety-seven (697) points and was awarded five thousand ($5000.00) dollars and a Kindle Fire.

Shekinah Campbell of St Vincent and the Grenadines placed first runner up with six hundred and ninety-one (691) points and won three thousand dollars ($3000.00).
Jazz Dias of Antigua and Barbuda placed second runner up with six hundred and eighty-eight (688) points and won two thousand dollars ($2000.00).
The other competitors were Dominica’s very own Madannah Auguiste of the Wills Strathmore Stevens Primary School, Eden Otway of Grenada and Arianna Mercier of St Lucia who were each awarded one thousand dollars.
The Courts OECS Schools Reading Competition was launched in 2009 with an aim to fight illiteracy in schools. This initiative also forms part of Court’s corporate social responsibility; primarily geared at providing interminable service to the wider Dominican populace.
