Sen. Jahisiah Benoit Steps Down As National Youth Council President
Outgoing president of the National Youth Council, Jahisiah Benoit has described his tenure as president as a humbling experience.
Benoit who served for two terms as president of the NYC will step down at the national youth council general assembly on September 30th.
Benoit says the various district youth councils and the executive must be commended for a job well done.
He says the NYC made tremendous strides over the past two years in uplifting the youth.
Benoit also says administrative restructuring and strategic partnerships with key stake holders were another highlight.
