Police Welfare Association calling on Government to respond to its proposed salary increase
The Dominica Police Welfare Association is calling on the Government to respond to its proposal for the 2018/2021 triennium.
Chairperson of the Association Jefferson Drigo made the call during a press conference on Tuesday morning.
Drigo says the proposal was submitted during the first week of May, and a letter acknowledging receipt was received on May 14 from the Chief Personnel Officer.
The Association is proposing a 15 percent increase in salary for the three years.
Police officers are expected to meet on Friday afternoon to discuss the salary proposal among other matters.
