Online learning platform launched in Dominica to improve performance of Secondary School students
The OECS and the Caribbean Examination Council has launched an online learning platform in Dominica to improve performance of Secondary School students.
The NotesMaster Platform, which is in use across the Caribbean and in some Commonwealth countries, was introduced to local teachers at the Newtown primary School on Thursday morning.
Chief Education Officer Melena Fontaine says the Ministry of Education plans to use the software across the Education Sector.
Meantime Regional Manager of Notesmaster Caribbean, Daymon Clark says the platform can make the Education Sector more resilient to natural disasters.
The Notesmaster learning platform was developed in 2004 in the Caribbean and is in use in 29 countries.
