Health Minister says there is no controversy surrounding the two medical ships currently docked in Dominica
Health Minister Dr Kenneth Darroux has spoken out on the issues surrounding the two medical ships which are currently docked in Dominica.
The Pacific Hope, an American vessel, and the Peace Ark, a Chinese medical vessel, are stationed in Portsmouth and Roseau, respectively.
The Pacific Hope came to Dominica shortly after Hurricane Maria.
According to Dr Darroux, there is no controversy behind the decision to temporarily stop the services being provided by the Pacific Hope.
He says however the necessary licenses have to be approved.
