Government’s decision to purchase US$17 million dollars of materials post Hurricane Maria defended
Minister in the Ministry of Housing and Lands Johnson Drigo has defended the Government’s decision to purchase materials to the tune of US$17 million dollars abroad post Hurricane Maria.
He says post Hurricane Maria there was a shortage of materials on island and Government had to take a decision which was in the best interest of the country.
Drigo was addressing the debate on the supplementary estimates in Parliament on Thursday afternoon.
Drigo says every Constituency has benefited from these materials.
