Trade Minister Ian Douglas says the Government is continuing to put measures in place to protect consumer rights.
The Ministry of Trade along with stakeholder partners, today hosted a Trusted Smart Products Exposition in observance of World Consumer Rights Day.
Some of the stakeholders at the Exposition were the National Bank of Dominica, Digicel, FLOW, DOMLEC, and the UWI Open Campus among others.
Douglas spoke at the opening ceremony of the Exposition at the Windsor Park Stadium.
Douglas says the Government is also working on establishing an information based society, noting the country’s need to embrace smart technology.
