Government increases age limit for children seeking assistance under pilot health insurance program
Government has taken a decision to increase the age limit for children in need of assistance under the national pilot health insurance program.
The Program, which commenced in 2017, targeted mothers of children three years and under and all expectant mothers.
It covered up to 80 percent of of the medical bills in most cases.
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says based on the study of the program, there is need to increased the age limit.
