Government and Public Service Union Sign off on Salary Negotiations
The Public Service Union (PSU) and Government have reached an agreement on salary increase for the 2015-2018 triennium.
The agreement makes provision for a one off payment equivalent to two months’ salary.
The government had initially offered a wage freeze for the period but the DPSU has flatly refused to accept it and has proposed a 15% increase. That the government did not accept.
General secretary of the PSU, Thomas Letang made the announcement on the conclusion of negotiations at a press conference on Wednesday.
Letang says the agreement with Government includes a number of non salary matters.
