Dominica’s Prime Minister urges for the country to be removed from blacklist
Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit has urged the European Union and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) to act speedily to remove Dominica from its blacklist.
Dominica was placed on the list as a non cooperative tax jurisdiction.
Mr Skerrit, speaking at a recent sitting of Parliament, says the country took the necessary action and that it was a mistake to have placed Dominica on the list.
The Prime Minister says however based on recent communication, Dominica may be on course to be out of the blacklist.
