Dominica’s Opposition parties continue to raise concern over proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill
Leader of the Opposition United Workers Party Lennox Linton says the opposition has had a change of heart as it relates to the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill, and is looking forward to constructive debate on the Bill.
The Bill will be tabled during next week’s fourth meeting of the third session of the ninth Parliament.
Earlier this week concerns were raised by the opposition regarding certain sections of the Bill, which they said targets the right for citizens to protest against the Government.
The opposition party says it will hold public meetings to raise more awareness about the contents of the Bill.
The Dominica Freedom Party has also added its voice to the ongoing debate over the proposed Anti-Terrorism Bill.
