Dominican born Olympic medalist commends resiliency displayed by Dominicans post Hurricane Maria
Former Canadian goal keeper and Dominican born Olympic medalist Karina Leblanc says the resiliency displayed by Dominicans post Hurricane Maria must be commended.
Leblanc, who is also a UNICEF Ambassador , is here in Dominica visiting a number of UNICEF sponsored projects.
During the course of this week, Leblanc also met with Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, Sports Minister Justina Charles and the Dominica Football Association.
Leblanc also gave motivational speeches at a number of schools, and presented over 400 boxes of sportswear donated by the Canadian Soccer Association.
LeBlanc made an appearance on DBS’s Off the Field Program on Wednesday night.
