Dominica to receive twenty nurses from Cuba
Dominica will have the services of twenty Cuban nurses.
Minister for Health Dr Kenneth Darroux says the Cuban nurses will help address a nurses shortage in Dominica.
Meantime Government has taken steps to address the issues which has led to an increases in the migration of nurses.
Acting Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health and Social Services Letitia Lestrade Wyke says Government has put forward a number of financial incentives geared at improving working conditions for the nurses.
