Dominica State Prison receives equipment for reform programs
The Dominica State Prison has received numerous pieces of equipment which will assist with the reform programs being offered at the facility.
The handing over forms part of the European Union 10th EDF Project which is aimed at strengthening law enforcement and border security in the Regional Security System Member States.
The equipment handed over were computers, sewing machines, and saws among others.
And Minister for National Security Rayburn Blackmoore expressed gratitude to the European Union and the Regional Security System for their continued support to Dominica.
Blackmoore also encouraged staff of the Dominica State Prison to take ownership of the equipment.
