Dominica Public Service Union Initiates Mobilization Drive
The Public Service Union is to embark on a mobilization drive for members to show dissatisfaction with the delay in salary negotiations.
General secretary of the Public Service Union (PSU) Thomas Letang says the mobilization drive will inform members about the non-response of Government to its salary increase proposal.
The PSU has made proposals for a salary increase of 15% over three years.
Today, Thursday 6 is Teachers Appreciation Day.
Meantime, Dominica’s Ambassador to the OECS and CARICOM, Ambassador Gregoire commended the role of the DAT as it relates to the austerity measures.
He says Dominica’s Education Sector has a lot to be proud about and called for continued support of Dominican teachers.
