Cuban Government Recognises Dominica’s Support in Lifting US Trade Embargo
Dominica’s calls for the lifting of the US Trade Embargo against Cuba have not gone unrecognised.
Cuba’s Ambassador to Dominica, H.E Excellency Juan Carlos Frometa De la Rosa says his country is grateful for the support from Dominica.
Dominica repeatedly calls for the lifting of the trade sanctions when it addresses the UN General Assembly and the international community.
Since 1192, Cuba has been presenting a resolution at the US General Assembly against the embargo.
For over 23 years, the international community has been voting against the sanctions.
The economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by the US on Cuba for over half a century ago continues today, despite resumption of relaions.
