” First of all let me say that my heart goes out to all the employees of DCP who no longer have a job as a result of the shutting down of that company, in particular the people of the Mahaut Community…it is because if the great folks of the mahaut constitiuency i continue to represent people as a parl rep and as a minister and for that i am greatful. i give them the assurance that I’m going to be lookinig out for them with a great degree of intensity.
“Certainly DCP has made a significant contribution to the gross domestic product. A number of persons have educated their children and built their homes as a result of DCP. certainly they would have made a business decision post Erika with a delegation including myself visited dcp, met with the general manager. you would have heard the PM mention that the government is going to enageg the company for the purpose of possible purchase. i will be meeting the employees who have been displaced on sunday at 4:00 at the Mauhuat community center so we can discuss the way forward.
