Amendments coming to the Police Act for a New Health Insurance for officers
Minister for Justice, Immigration, and National Security Rayburn Blackmoore says Amendments to the Police Act, for a New Health Insurance for officers will be taken to Parliament.
In a statement to the media today, Mr. Blackmoore says a Committee was appointed to make amendments to the Police Act.
He says a draft of the amendment was presented to the Police Welfare Association last month, and the proposed amendment was accepted.
Mr. Blackmoore says there were some issues with the previous police medical insurance.
